Kiviok Hight 35
Cortez, CO  email
Kiviok lives in Cortez Colorado with his wife Ann, daughter Danielle (4), and nephew (little)Kiviok (7). He was born in Stove VT, raised in Minnesota, and found home 10 years ago in the mountain and canyon country of the Four Corners. He is a chiropractor who loves what he does as well as the lifestyle and people of the agricultural community that he lives in. Besides racing, Kiviok has also developed an obsession for Hunting in this incredible country. He has also proclaimed the month of September the "Holy month of Archery". He states that nothing is more exciting than a charging-bugling bull Elk that has just wallowed in his own urine.
Kiviok has spent the past 10 years involved in the multisport world of adventure racing. These races involve mountain biking, trail running/hiking, paddling river, lake, and ocean, mountaineering, and navigation using a map and compass to get through the course. The races have been done in Jungle (Fiji,Borneo), mountain(New Zealand, US), and desert(UT). All of his races have been done in the team catagory ranging from 2-4 members and always co-ed. Out of the 25 races in the 12-24 hour category he has finished top 3 in 10 of them. He has also competed in 8 non-stop races lasting 6 or more days. This includes 3 Eco-Challenges and 2 Primal Quest races. Both of these races have boasted themselves as being "The Worlds Toughest Race". Kiviok is absolutely excited to compete in the ridiculous race known as RAAM. From the time he saw the first broadcast of this race, he has been intrigued by the insanity of these riders. While not quite insane enough to try the solo category he looks forward to getting his feet wet in the Team division.   Kiviok's Resume
